What we collect and why

We collect account details, application information, income and expense figures, and documents you choose to upload to assess vehicle applications and administer your marketplace account. Supplier applicants provide business and inventory details for onboarding review.

Access and storage

Account and application data is stored in the connected Supabase service. Documents are held in a private storage bucket. Authorised Value Car Hire reviewers can access applications for assessment. Website hosting is provided by Vercel. Infrastructure may process information outside South Africa.

Sharing

Application information may be shared with a relevant supplier when needed to assess and fulfil your request. Submitting an application does not authorise unrelated marketing. Value Car Hire does not sell your application documents.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, withdrawal of consent or deletion by contacting admin@elementbridge.co.za. Requests remain subject to applicable retention obligations. Only upload information that is needed for your application. You may choose not to apply or upload documents.

Local storage

The site stores saved vehicle IDs in your browser and uses Supabase authentication storage to keep you signed in. Saved cars can be removed using the heart control. Signing out ends the local authenticated session.

Retention and review

Information is used for application review and related administration. Account, application and document records are retained for five years from account closure or your last activity, whichever is later, to meet typical South African tax and record-keeping obligations, after which they are deleted unless a longer period is required by law or an unresolved dispute. This is our retention policy, not tax advice.
